① of reliability is high inside story full of good books ♪

①信頼性が高い裏話満載の良書♪

'60年代初頭のハンブルク時代から、ビートルズ全員の深い友情と信頼を、長年に亘って得た作者によるこの本は、多くのビートルズ回顧本がある中でも、一等級の信頼性がおけるものだろう。

　　

ビートルズの曲創りやレコードジャケットのデザイン、ビートルズ各人の自宅での出来事、

ビートルズとのプライベートな旅行等々を、暖かく愛情が篭った眼差しで書き綴っている。

　　

どの項目にも、作者しか知り得ないエピソードが多く、また、著者がそのエッセイに合わせて描き、随所に挿入されたイラストのセンスが最高で、書籍全体が魅力溢れるものになっている。

　　

書籍代が若干高いように感じるが、いつも手元に置いておきたくなる本である。

②Beatles好きなら読むべし

エメリック本は当時の録音などに関する記述は素晴らしいのですが、

Paul以外のメンバーへの愛が無いように感じました。

Paulに偏りすぎて読んでいてウンザリする箇所も少なからずありました。

ブーアマン（昔はこう呼んでましたよねぇ）本はメンバーへの「愛」に満ち溢れています。

貴重なハンブルク時代の話から解散後の生活の話まで、

彼らしい優しさたっぷりの表現で暖かい気分にさせてくれます。

録音などの記述は前者にはかないませんが、

解散後のライブの裏話など読みどころ満載です。是非！！
